Alaric, who is a regular in the left back slot for Haverfordwest County’s senior side in the Welsh League Division One, also had the added honour of being chosen to captain the team and started out at the heart of the defence before being pushed further forward in second-half quest for goals.
Charlie, another squad member with the Bluebirds’ first team, was on the bench in the first half but played on the left side of midfield after the break and also impressed with the way he slotted into the Welsh team.
They were watched by dads Tony Jones and Alan Davies, both influential local players with Merlins Bridge and Goodwick United respectively in their playing days, with Bluebirds’ manager Sean Cresser and Welsh senior coach Osian Roberts also interested spectators.
