There were some high scoring games in the Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League on a wet Saturday afternoon.

Monkton Swifts stay four points clear of the table after easily despatching bottom of the table Herbrandston 8-0 at Monkton Lane. Bagging the goals for the high-flying Swifts were Ben Steele 3, Dylan Davies, 2, Blake James 2, and James Russell.

Second placed Goodwick United won 12-0 against Neyland for the biggest winning margin of the afternoon, Goals were shared by Kieran O’Brien, Jordan Griffiths 4, Lee Hudgell 2, Luke Raymond.

Pennar Robins were comfortably beaten 1-5 by third placed Carew at Bush Camp. Sam Christopher starred with a superb hat-trick and Jordan Richards and Shaun Whitfield were also on target for the Rooks. Sam Southcott scored the Robins’ only goal of the game.

St Clears were beaten 2-6 at home against fourth placed Merlins Bridge. Steve Thomas and Will Evans were on target for the Saints, but the Wizards sealed victory with goals from Nathan Greene 2, Chris Ormond, Joe Leahy, Jordan Thomas and Will Haworth.

Clarbeston Road narrowly lost 4-5 at home against champions Hakin United. Jason Griffiths 2, Jason Wood and Raph Barnett bagged goals for the Road, but the Vikings secured the points thanks to goals scored by Nicky Woodrow 2, Camron Thomas, Mark Jones and Leigh Marchant.

Second from bottom Milford United narrowly won 2-1 against Saundersfoot Sports at Marble Hall. Liam Parr and Lewys Tee were won target for the Robins who sealed a welcome third win of the season.
