West Wales Intermediate Cup - Quarter final

Hakin United 4 – Penlan Club 0

Hakin United comfortably overcame Penlan Club at the Obs to reach the last four of the West Wales Intermediate Cup.

This fantastic display plus result must surely be one of the best in Hakin United’s proud league and cup history.

Penlan Club came to the Obs full of confidence as they are sitting joint top of the West Wales Premier League with Mumbles Rangers, they have three games in hand over the latter, currently have an impressive league record of played 13, won 12 and drew 1.

Ashley Bevan scored a brace alongside one each for Shane Walsh and Jack Britton to ease past their illustrious Swansea League opponents in front of a large crowd.

On a sunny, cold, windy afternoon it was Scott Davies’ Vikings who settled quickly as Bevan and Walsh both tested keeper Marcus Collins from distance.
