Third in the table Carew gained a comfortable five goals victory over second from bottom Neyland at the Recreations Ground.

Rooks’ manager Rob Scourfield must have felt pleased his side won their tenth league game of the season, whilst The Nomads suffered their twelfth defeat of the campaign and currently facing relegation.

In the seventh minute Archie Smith struck the opener, incredibly that’s how it stayed at half time.

After the break, the Rooks started to get on top and were rewarded as James Hinchliffe struck twice in the space of ten minutes to put his side 3-1 ahead.

The visitors didn’t throw-in the towel as skipper Sean Hannon pulled one back for The Nomads.

However, The Rooks finished strongly as Jordan Richards scored to late goals to put the final shine on the Rooks’ impressive performance.

Richard Bevan scored the winner for Clarbeston RoadRichard Bevan bagged the winner for Clarbeston Road in a five-goal thriller at gritty Hundleton.

This was The Road’s ninth win of the season as they sit fourth in the table as Hundleton suffered their ninth defeat of the campaign as they are currently eighth.

The visitors took the lead as Jake Booth profited from a Jason Griffiths assist, but the hosts hit back two minutes later as Cameron Brunton equalised, minutes later Nicky Grange added another for the hosts who led 2-1 at the break.

In the 53rd minute the visitors levelled matters as player-boss Matthew Ellis set-up Booth for his second goal of the match.

In the 75th minute veteran striker Richard Bevan struck the winner for the delighted visitors.

Teenager Thomas is Wizards’ match winner

Will Haworth opened the scoring for Merlins BridgeTeenager Henry Thomas struck a second half winner for Merlins Bridge who narrowly came away with the points against battling Pennar Robins at Bush Camp.

Back in February, The Robins stunned the Wizards as they won 2-1 at the Racecourse.

However, Gareth ‘Taffy’ Williams has kept faith with his young charges as they rewarded with a sweet revenge victory over player manager Sam Southcott’s team.

In the tenth minute Left sided midfielder Will Haworth was on target with the opener, on the half hour mark Ross Jones equalised for the hosts as the score stood at 1-1 at half time.

Both teams looked for a winner, but it came in the form of 17-year-old Thomas who made no mistake from inside the box for the Wizards.

Monkton Swifts edged victory against Fishguard Sports in a hard-fought clash played at Tregroes.

This win saw The Swifts move up the table to seventh whilst The Sports sit in fifth position.

Both teams created decent chances bit somehow it remained 0-0 at the interval.

In the 78th minute came the defining moment as Jake Seaton found the back of the net for The Swifts.

It was a hammer blow for Brian Kinsella’s Sports’ outfit as Swifts’ boss Stuart James was thrilled his side got the all-important three points on the road.

Tish skipper Brannan Devonald scored a brace in a big win over NarberthNaberth’s miserable campaign continued as they were thrashed by St Ishmaels who are determeined to stay in the topflight.

The Bluebirds destined for relegation are still without a league point suffered another mauling at the hands of third from bottom Tish.

Tish manager Gerard Gray must have felt pleased his team put the Bluebirds to the sword, they led 4-0 at half time plus added seven further goals without reply.

The goals came thick and fast as Joel Morgan led the rout with a stunning hat-trick, there was a brace each for skipper Brennan Devonald, Adam Kingsbeer, Owen Laurie, Edward Richards also a solitary goal for Joseph Davies.
