Wizards seal win with strong second half showing

In the sixth minute The Wizards took the lead Will Haworth set-up striker Ben Davies who slotted past Patrick Hannon.
The Nomads hit back ten minutes before the interval as Max Bowman-Davies broke clear on the left and scored with a neatly struck low finish past James Dickson in the far corner.
Gareth ‘Taffy’ Williams. Wizards took the game by the scruff in the second half as Adam Hawkins bagged the second which was set-up by Matthew D’Ivry.
Haworth back to quick fire goals both assisted by left back Andrew John that gave his side a 4-1 cushion. Aidan pulled one back for the battling Nomads, but the Wizards hit back as Haworth was on target with the fifth, it gave the wide sided midfielder his second hat-trick in as many weeks.
Unlucky Mike Chandler got the last touch into his own net as the Wizards claimed their eleventh win of the season.

Goodwick on brink of title after defeating Carew
Goodwick United 5 – Carew 2
Wayne O’Sullivan’s Goodwick outfit are now on the brink of securing the title following this victory, they require just a point against Hakin United at the Obs to clinch the silverware.
Rob Scourfield’s Carew team dumped Goodwick out of the Senior Cup a couple of months back, this time round they got off to a good start as Sam Christopher set-up Jordan Richards who drilled his effort into the bottom corner.
In the 27th minute the visitors were awarded a penalty when Jordan Griffiths brought down Christopher inside the box, up stepped Adam Muskett who made no mistake with the spot take, putting his side two up.
Four minutes before the break Jonny Horgan was up ended in the box for a definite penalty which Rhys Dalling rifled into the back of the net.
Three minutes after half time the hosts equalised when Dan James ball in the box bounced around before skipper Scott Delaney headed home.
In the 59th minute the potential league champions took the lead when Dalling glanced in a header from an excellent cross by Iestyn Evans.
On 70 minutes Goodwick added their fourth when Dan James ball in the box was met by Jordan Griffiths who drilled in from 12 yards.
Eight minutes from full time Dalling completed his hat-trick when the deadly striker placed his shot inside the box in the bottom corner to complete the scoring.

Swifts dominate Bluebirds at Monkton Lane
Monkton Swifts 9 – Narberth 2
Monkton Swifts sealed an expected high scoring victory over relegated Narberth at Monkton Lane.
Both teams finished the season on Saturday, the Swifts had a better second half to the campaign, while Narberth finished the season without a point, but must take full credit for not giving up as they turned up every week in difficult circumstances.
The Swifts led 4-0 at the break as Dylan Davies twice plus Jack Clarke and Jamie Wilkes added further goals.
After the break, Davies was on target with the fifth and sixth, player boss James Russell drilled in the seventh. Chris Richards added the eighth, Russell then set up Jason Finnegan for the ninth.
The Bluebirds showed good character as they grabbed two late goals through Rhys Hughes and Liam Phillips.
